Our multicultural team drives improvement and collaborative work to raise the bar of sustainability across Southeast Asia's seafood industry and beyond.
Trini Pratiwi is an aquaculture specialist with over ten years of experience in sustainable aquaculture and seafood value chain development. In various capacities, she has led mandates with companies, private and public investors, governments, NGOs, and producers. She is currently project manager for Asian Seafood Initiative Collaborative and co-lead for A Greener Blue at the Lexicon, leveraging support for seafood producers to improve practices, recognition, and livelihood.
Ernesto Morales, also known as "Jack," is the ASIC Improvements Director who oversees all of ASIC's on-the-ground improvement efforts in Southeast Asia. He is a member of several committees/dialogues in developing standards for responsible aquaculture. As an aquaculture expert based in the Philippines, Jack has worked on improvement projects for tilapia and shrimp farms in the Philippines, Cambodia, Indonesia, Myanmar, Thailand, and Vietnam. Ernesto holds a Ph.D. in Aquaculture from the Institute of Aquaculture, University of Stirling, Scotland.
As an Improvement Assistant, Yitno’s role involves several activities-mostly field activities, such as conducting farm assessments, providing training and support for farmers and trainers to understand and be able to undertake self-checks against critical ASIC criteria, and delivering training workshops on the ASIC standards, with separate focal presentations for farmers and trainers.
Inspired to connect people and communities through communication, Pam joined the ASIC team in early 2021 as part of the Marketing team. Before joining ASIC, she worked in Advertising, Public Relations & Logistics industries. She was involved in developing strategic and insightful projects to strengthen the customer-brand relationship. Through her five-year marketing experience, she has worked with clients in the food & beverage, non-profit organizations, commercial insurance, and logistics sectors.
Postelsia Team
Guided by the values of respect, inclusiveness, integrity, transparency and equality, the team at Postelsia works with ASIC to co-create solutions with all stakeholders and provide support to help foster economic growth, healthy oceans, and sustainable livelihoods.
C.J. joined the Postelsia team in 2019 and currently serves as the Director of Marketing. A highly creative and collaborative communicator with a multi-faceted background encompassing over 15 years in branding, digital marketing and communications, C.J. is driven to create and connect in her role. She has worked as an award-winning professional photographer covering commissions throughout North America and Europe, and her photographs have been published across various Canadian regional and national print publications. C.J. is a piano-playing, popcorn-loving, design-thinking enthusiast who enjoys working at the intersection of numbers and narrative to create compelling brand experiences.
Corey Peet is the Vice President and Co-Founder of Postelsia and has worked on sustainable seafood issues for nearly 20 years and is a passionate advocate for creative change. He works with the Postelsia team to build sustainability solutions for chefs and the seafood industry that seek to be inclusive, equitable and work to solve problems for the whole supply chain. His recent work has focused on building place-based sustainability solutions designed to support small-scale seafood producers worldwide to bring their unique sustainability stories to market.
